**Wage:** $28-$34hr

**Job Description:** We are seeking experienced Fiber Optic Splicers to support fiber installation and maintenance projects at data center outside Columbus, OH. This role supports installation, new construction turn-ups, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of fiber optic networks nationwide.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform fiber optic splicing for new construction and live network environments
+ Terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic networks
+ Build and work within fiber optic splice cases, including cases with live customer traffic
+ Conduct ribbon and loose-tube splicing (single-mode and multi-mode)
+ Perform mass/ribbon splicing on fiber counts ranging from 6ct flat drop to 432ct
+ Operate and interpret test results using OTDRs, Flukes, and power meters
+ Provide OTDR trace results for client network turn-ups as required
+ Follow safety standards and quality procedures on all job sites
**Qualifications**
+ Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Splicer
+ Strong working knowledge of:
+ Fusion splicing
+ Fiber strippers and cleavers
+ Power meters and OTDR equipment
+ Aerial booms and related tools
+ Experience with both ribbon and loose-tube fiber
+ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve fiber network issues efficiently
+ Comfortable working in live network environments
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ribbon splicing experience preferred but not required.
+ Experience with wire harness assembly, cable routing, Cat 6 cables, and fiber optic installation.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
