SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bailer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of shredding and baling equipment, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the overall workflow. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This announcement is for 2nd shift, M - F 1:30 pm - 10 pm, all new hires will be trained for 3 weeks on 1st shift prior to moving to 2nd shift.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect the shredder at the beginning of each shift to confirm it is in proper working condition; report any issues to maintenance immediately.
Verify the functionality of all emergency stop buttons (e-stops) to ensure safety compliance.
Monitor carts at the start of the shift, ensuring they are half full or less; promptly shred and record any carts exceeding this capacity, and manage carts that are within the acceptable range.
Perform daily preventive maintenance (PM) within the first two hours of the shift to ensure equipment reliability.
Remove waste material accumulated under the shredder to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Clear waste behind the shredder in the room to prevent buildup and facilitate smooth operation.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
