We’re looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join our client's team and play a key role in managing the day to day accounting functions. If you enjoy reconciling accounts, working with both payables and receivables, and contributing to a mission focused organization, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
As the Bookkeeper, you will manage essential financial activities that support the health and efficiency of the operations, including:
Core Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (approx. 10–20 weekly, 50–60 monthly)
Reconcile donations received through auto-payments, ACH, and cash
Accurately process, record, and deposit incoming checks
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Ideal candidates will have:
Preferred Qualifications
1–2 years of bookkeeping experience
Experience with QuickBooks
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and data entry)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
High school diploma required; additional education in accounting or finance is preferred
