UVA Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with women’s health and/or obstetric experience to join a growing OB/GYN practice. This role is designed for APPs who thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment and are passionate about providing high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care.

The APP will work closely with OB/GYN physicians, hospitalist and a dedicated, high quality team to deliver comprehensive care to women throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and gynecologic care episodes.

Clinical Responsibilities
Responsibilities will be aligned with APP training, experience, and state scope-of-practice regulations, and will include:
Conduct prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic patient visits
Triage and manage acute OB/GYN concerns in collaboration with physicians
Shared inpatient rounding during clinic hours
Provide patient education, counseling, and preventive women’s health services
Provide timely access to patients in a high-demand patient need setting
Candidate Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
National certification (WHNP, FNP, CNM, or PA-C as applicable)
Eligible for Virginia licensure and DEA
Prior experience in OB/GYN, women’s health, or labor & delivery strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and team-oriented mindset
