Sogeclair is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team based in Kinston, NC.
Key Accountabilities: Coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams to develop and guide the program manufacturing and tooling plan Ensures the identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and improves manufacturing processes in support of the type design Uses process engineering principles and techniques.
Develops, establishes, and guides requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurations Performs trade and cost studies and assists in leading integrated product and process teams Ability to apply knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Composite non-metallic, Thermal Plastic, metal, Systems and Structures.
Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering program Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and integration of structures and tooling concepts Ability to determine the preferred process, assist in developing the design concept and direct the manufacture of structural assemblies Experience with the following: Past engineering Internships Aerospace experience Manufacturing Engineering Six Sigma Lean manufacturing Project Management Automation Technology Hands-on working knowledge of CATIA and SAP Shop floor / Machine shop / Fabrication support Auditing Estimating Tooling Tool Planning SAI Enovia Delmia
