Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will set up and operate CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers to produce components according to blueprints, routings, and standard work procedures. Your role involves inspecting parts with precision using gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools. You will load and unload fixtures, position large components using cranes, and make basic CNC program adjustments and tool changes.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.

Machine components following blueprints, routings, and standard work.

Inspect parts using gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

Load/unload fixtures and position large components using cranes.

Make basic CNC program adjustments and tool changes.

Essential Skills

Experience with CNC operation on mills or lathes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Mazak or Mazatrol machines is a plus.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience with the person machines is nice to have.

Work Environment

Work in a large, bustling industrial plant with 1800 employees. The environment is a typical machine shop, not climate-controlled and somewhat dusty. This physical job requires standing all day. Shifts available are 2nd (3 PM - 11:10 PM, Monday to Friday) and 3rd (11 PM - 7:10 AM, Monday to Friday), with overtime and weekend work available as needed.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, GA.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
