Job Title: Process Technician

Job Description

As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting blow molding and injection molding machines. You will monitor production parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and perform machine changeovers and mold/tooling adjustments. Additionally, you will conduct quality checks using gauges, calipers, and visual inspections, while documenting process settings, deviations, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and adjust blow molding and injection molding machines.

Monitor production parameters including temperature, pressure, and cycle times.

Troubleshoot equipment and process issues related to material flow, machine alarms, and quality defects.

Perform machine changeovers and mold/tooling adjustments.

Conduct quality checks using gauges, calipers, and visual inspections.

Document process settings, deviations, and corrective actions.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in plastics, with at least 1 year of blow molding experience.

Proficiency in injection mold and blow mold techniques.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Mechanically inclined.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with injection mold or extrusion processes.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72600.00/yr.
