CNC Machine Operator: Seward, Illinois

Our customer in Seward, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detailoriented individual to join their team as a CNC Machine Operator to work fulltime on 1st shift. As a CNC Machine Operator, you’ll help support daily production by operating CNC equipment, inspecting parts, and ensuring quality standards are met in a wellorganized manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:

Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to prints and job specifications.

Load raw materials and parts into machines and monitor production cycles.

Perform firstpiece inspections and submit parts to Quality for approval.

Inspect finished parts using basic measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.

Monitor machines during operation and make minor adjustments as needed.

Follow job traveler instructions and track completed work.

Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the shift.

CNC Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.

Comfortable using basic inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.

Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Pay for CNC Machine Operator: $17.00–$22.00/hour, depending on experience.
