Description:

We're looking for a senior Full Stack Developer to build new features, troubleshoot cross-team issues, and ensure smooth production deployments. This hands-on, collaborative role requires clear communication, reliable coding with solid testing, and participation in coordinated client testing and on-call rotation as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop full stack solutions in support of multiple client applications and teams.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments by analyzing logs and system behavior to identify root cause.

Collaborate with stakeholders and partner teams to clarify requirements, scope solutions, and document decisions.

Create and maintain test cases to support QA/testing teams during validation of new code releases.

Support deployment activities to production and verify system health post-release.

Provide timely ticket updates, documentation, and resolution notes (strong ownership from intake to closure).

Participate in testing phases with client application teams and assist with defect triage and fixes.

Be available for rare after-hours support (evenings/weekends/holidays) as required by the contract. Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong experience with: Java, Spring Boot, Maven

Frontend frameworks: React and/or Angular

Testing frameworks/tools (unit/integration and frontend testing)

Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues, including log analysis and root cause identification.

Strong customer-facing communication: ability to work across teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Strong written communication for documentation and ticket resolution.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Willing to travel to the DC area/Ashburn 1-2 times per week.

Willingness to support contract needs outside business hours on rare occasions.

Must be able to obtain/maintain CBP BI prior to starting. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with: Harness, Harness, GitLab, Confluence, Jira, Agile/Scrum development

Prior DHS BI clearance (or prior DHS/CBP environment experience)

Demonstrated experience building test cases and supporting structured test execution with QA teams. Benefits
