Warehouse Supervisor

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Warehouse Supervisor. This is a full-time position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory

Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse

Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory

Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials

Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures

Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members

Conduct Inventory counts

Order warehouse supplies when needed

Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members

Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in a warehouse or in a shipping/receiving role

Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred

Light maintenance experience preferred

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Outgoing, personable, and ability to communicate with all levels of a company

Ability to multi-task

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good driving record
