Audio Deep Learning Intern

As an Audio Deep Learning Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our engineering and research teams on real-world audio and machine learning problems. This internship provides hands-on experience at the intersection of deep learning, DSP, and embedded systems.

During your internship, you will:

Assist in the design, development, and evaluation of deep-learning-based audio models and algorithms

Support research and prototyping efforts for audio processing and enhancement tasks

Contribute to model optimization, efficiency improvements, and compression experiments

Help analyze multi-sensor audio data and algorithm behavior

Collaborate with experienced engineers on tooling, experiments, and deployments

This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience working on cutting-edge embedded AI technology while contributing to impactful projects. What You'll Work On

Depending on your background and interests, projects may include:

Developing or refining deep learning models for audio tasks such as speech enhancement, noise reduction, sound event detection, localization, echo cancellation, and related areas

Experimenting with model efficiency, compression, and optimization techniques

Working with real audio datasets and multi-sensor inputs

Building research prototypes and evaluation pipelines

Supporting deployment and testing workflows Requirements

Required qualifications and experience:

Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Familiarity with Python and at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch preferred)

Basic understanding of machine learning or signal processing concepts

Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about audio or ML systems

Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment Nice to have:

Exposure to audio processing, DSP, or speech/audio ML

Experience with neural networks, training workflows, or data analysis

Interest in embedded systems or efficient ML Desired Skills:
