Job Description

GPS is hiring a Machinist for an immediate direct placement role in Hampton, SC.

What You’ll Do

Set up, align, and operate CNC machines for trimming plastic components

Load materials, unload parts, and make basic program edits

Perform mold changeovers (1–3 times daily)

Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced production setting

Support production of panels, machine covers, and plastic components

What We’re Looking For

CNC operating experience or recent CNC program completion

Basic G-code knowledge

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 lbs.

CNC programming experience a plus

Basic CNC maintenance knowledge a plus

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Schedule & Environment

Non-climate-controlled production facility.

8 hours shift, 5 days/week.

Train on 1st shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm)

Move to 2nd shift after training (3 pm –11:30 pm) or 3rd shift (11 pm–7:30 am)

A drug-free workplace and a criminal background check are required.
