Job Description

5-Axis CNC Operator needed for a full-time day shift opportunity in Houston.

LINK Staffing is hiring for a precision manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC operator who can operate 5-axis equipment, make machine adjustments, read blueprints, and perform quality checks with precision measuring tools.

Pay and Schedule

• $26.00-$28.00 per hour

• Full-time

• Day shift

• West Houston, TX

What You’ll Do

• Operate 5-axis CNC machines in a precision manufacturing environment

• Make machine adjustments and support set-up functions as needed

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

• Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools

• Work with metric measurements and maintain tight tolerances

• Identify machining or production issues and report concerns to leads or supervisors

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous 5-axis CNC operating experience

• Ability to make machine adjustments and support set-up functions independently

• Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

• Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools

• Familiarity with metric measurements

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand for extended periods

Preferred Experience

• Aerospace, automotive, or other precision manufacturing experience

• Knowledge of GD&T

• Technical or vocational training in CNC machining or manufacturing

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
