Job Description

Job Summary:

The Flow Master Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining heavy machinery within a fast-paced production environment. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle heavy materials while ensuring product quality and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor Flow Master machines and other production equipment according to standard operating procedures.

Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and adjustments to maintain optimal production quality.

Safely lift, move, and position heavy materials or components, using proper lifting techniques or mechanical aids.

Conduct quality checks during production runs and identify any deviations or defects.

Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance.

Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to company safety and housekeeping standards.

Record production data, machine readings, and any incidents accurately in logs or digital systems.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.

Familiarity with Flow Master or similar industrial machines preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and production instructions.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to [insert weight, e.g., 50–100 lbs] regularly.

Capable of standing, walking, bending, and twisting for extended periods.

Comfortable working in environments with noise, vibration, or temperature variations.

Must follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment:

Manufacturing floor with heavy machinery.

Fast-paced production setting requiring adherence to strict safety and quality standards.

Preferred Skills:

Forklift or material handling certification.

Experience with preventive maintenance and minor machine repairs.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
