Job Title: Cable Technician

Location: New Albany, OH

Pay Rate: Starting at $22.50/hr

Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking Data Center Installers for an opportunity to provide assistance with the installation of various types of voice and data cables as well as conduit and Data Center equipment.

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

Technicians MUST have experience working with various cables that include, but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, power limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, Category 5, Category 6, single and multi -mode fiber optic cables. We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Install various low-voltage cabling systems, including copper and fiber optics.

Conduct tests to ensure proper installation and functionality of cabling.

Follow industry standards and safety protocols throughout the installation process.

Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation projects efficiently.

Maintain accurate records of installations, modifications, and repairs.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cabling systems.

Qualifications:

Must have 3+ months of data center, IT, or low voltage experience

Experience in low-voltage cabling installation or a related field.

Knowledge of cabling standards and best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, Fiber Optic Association) are a plus.
