Warehouse Material Handlers/Forklift Operators 2 Shifts

Job Description

Warehouse site in Etna, OH is in need of material handler forklift operators. Duties include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting. Other duties include general clean up of work area, throwing away trash, debris, etc. Must have current certification on file.

Shift: Monday - Friday

must be available for weekends/overtime

Must have certification for sit down forklift on file

must have experience with clamp truck

1st Shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM $20.50/hr

2nd Shift: 3:30PM-12:00AM $21.50/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler/ Loader to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of materials and products within the warehouse environment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to operate various warehouse equipment, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards. Operating forklift (Cherry Picker, Reach, Standing forklift).

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Accurately transfer product / parts, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, move products throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment and perform inventory counts as required. Read, interpret and accomplish WMS reports, recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer. Trained to recognize “obvious damage” at any point in the warehousing process and knowledge of action taken when discovered. Pull orders accurately as assigned Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location Prepare Receiving / Storage / Shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process. Aware of and follows location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma

Minimum 1 year of related warehouse experience

Minimum 1 year of Loading or Material Handler experience.

Ability to lift 50 pounds

The ability to input data into various WMS computer systems

Steel toe boots

Stand-up Forklift experience.
