Location: Ocean Pines Yacht Club – Ocean Pines, MD

Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

Position Summary

The Utility Dish Machine Operator plays a critical role in maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness, organization, and flow. This position ensures all dishes, utensils, cookware, and service items are cleaned, sanitized, and returned to service quickly and efficiently, supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the dish machine in a safe and efficient manner

Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans

Ensure proper organization and storage of all clean items

Keep dish area clean, organized, and free of clutter at all times

Assist with trash removal, recycling, and breakdown of boxes

Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen floors, mats, and surrounding work areas

Support kitchen team with basic prep or cleaning tasks as needed

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strong work ethic and reliability

Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs

Prior kitchen or dish experience is a plus, but not required
