Community Programs Operations Manager Monterey, CA (In Office) Big Sur Land Trust Big Sur Land Trust is hiring a Community Programs Operations Manager to strengthen and scale our community-facing programs through strong operations, grant management, and data systems.

This role ensures our programs run smoothly, meet funder requirements, and reflect measurable community impact across Monterey County.

What You’ll DoCoordinate program operations, workflows, and calendarsManage registration systems, waivers, communications, and evaluation toolsSupport grant deliverables, compliance, documentation, and reportingMaintain data systems, dashboards, and standardized tracking processesAnalyze program data and produce summaries for internal use and fundersSupport cross-departmental projects and improve organizational systems What We’re Looking For Required:3+ years of experience (nonprofit, education, youth programs, environmental work, public health, etc.)Experience with grants, reporting, and complianceStrong organizational and project management skillsExperience developing or managing data systemsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeStrong communication skillsCommitment to equity, inclusion, and community access Preferred:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience with land trusts, parks, or environmental nonprofitsSalesforce/registration platform experienceBilingual/multilingual (Spanish preferred) Compensation & Benefits $83,000–$87,000 DOE Medical, dental, vision, life insurance 403(b) + HSA contributions PTO, holidays, sick leave Professional development opportunities How to Apply Email one PDF to : • Resume + 3 references • Letter of interest (qualifications + availability) • 2–3 page writing sample (SOP, grant narrative, process doc, internal memo, etc.) Screening begins: Last week of March Interviews: Mid April Open until filled Learn more about the full job descirption:
