Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Join our team as a Machine Operator on the 3rd shift, working from 5:45pm to 6:15am on a 12-hour rotating schedule. You will be involved in the lamination process, working with cutting-edge machinery to ensure high-quality production standards.
Responsibilities
Mix adhesive according to specified formulas and perform first piece inspection.
Set up and operate machines following standard procedures and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
Utilize satellite containers for hazardous waste and report quality issues to appropriate personnel.
Verify correct calculation of adhesive needed for jobs and determine necessary impression rollers.
Assist operator with adding adhesive, changing raw material rolls, and other substrates.
Operate machines during breaks and set up cutting and roll wrapping machines in the slitter area.
Ensure proper supply of cores for slitting jobs and weigh, label, and palletize plastic rolls.
Conduct final inspection of rolls and report unsafe acts and conditions promptly.
Perform repetitive motions and lift up to 30-50 lbs as required.
Essential Skills
6+ months of manufacturing operating experience.
Ability to read and take precise measurements.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Capability to consistently lift 50 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in flexographic or metals slitting is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and experience with overhead hoists are advantageous.
Previous machine operating experience in a GMP company is beneficial.
Experience in corrugated packaging or printing is a plus.
Training in safety protocols is favorable.

The pay range for this position is $21.10 - $23.10/hr.
