Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Glendale Heights, Illinois. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing to the development and enhancement of internal systems. The position involves both hands-on technical development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance internal applications using Microsoft technologies.

• Optimize and support a custom-built ERP system utilized in manufacturing operations.

• Collaborate with fellow developers to improve system stability and performance.

• Design and manage SQL Server databases, ensuring efficient queries and reporting.

• Create and maintain web-based user interfaces for various applications.

• Assist in gathering requirements and documentation for a future ERP system transition.

• Support the evaluation of ERP vendors and plan data migration and system integration.

• Serve as a technical point of contact between IT, operations, finance, and external vendors.• At least 5 years of experience in software development.

• Proficiency in .NET technologies, including C# and ASP.NET.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript for front-end development.

• Experience with the .NET Framework and enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with cloud-based ERP systems.

• Background in manufacturing systems or durable goods is highly preferred.

• Ability to design and manage SQL Server databases.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
