Job Description

The Director of Nursing (DON) leads the nursing team, overseeing client care quality and compliance within a small team setting. This role requires frequent travel to various care sites, utilizing electronic health records and case management software to ensure accurate documentation and care planning. The DON fosters professional growth through regular training and certification support.

Responsibilities

Conduct client assessments to determine care needs (requires travel)

Develop and oversee individualized care plans

Maintain thorough case documentation and progress notes

Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Lead and mentor agencies Nursing staff

Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) and case management software effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Willingness and ability to travel frequently

Engagement in regular professional development through training and certification support
