CNC Machinist Operator (2nd shift)

Execute setups, layouts, and machine tools as required.

Analyze blueprints, drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine the dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements for the part or product.

Interpret and comprehend all types of drawings, including those with geometric dimensioning and tolerances.

Utilize measurement techniques to mark and indicate dimensions and reference points on the material or part, serving as guides for subsequent machining.

Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on various machines, such as mills, lathes, and grinders.

Configure and adjust controls to regulate machining factors like speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.

Initiate and monitor machine operation to identify any malfunctions or machining deviations, making necessary adjustments to the machine controls.

Thoroughly inspect the finished part to ensure it conforms to the required specifications.

Identify opportunities to enhance methods for improved quality and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with the maintenance team in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance tasks.

Adhere to the company's policies, procedures, and standards at all times.

Undertake additional duties within your capabilities as assigned by management.
