Salary Range: $67,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Develop, program, and test PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) logic for new and existing automated manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshoot and debug complex PLC programs, HMI (Human Machine Interface) issues, and integrated systems to resolve production downtime.

Perform routine maintenance, modifications, and upgrades to control systems to improve efficiency and reliability.

Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs, electrical schematics, and system configurations.

Collaborate with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to identify and implement control system improvements.

Commission and validate new equipment and control systems on the production floor.

Ensure all programming adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and company best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal) and HMI/SCADA development.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

3+ years of experience in industrial automation, specifically with PLC programming and commissioning in a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems, including PLCs, drives, and industrial networks.

Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB).

Proficiency in configuring and programming industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).

Familiarity with database integration (SQL) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity best practices for control systems.

Experience with IIoT platforms and cloud integration for manufacturing data.
