Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing presses according to job specifications.

Operate presses safely and efficiently to produce parts, monitoring for proper function.

Perform routine quality checks on produced parts using measurement tools and visual inspection.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues or machine malfunctions.

Load raw materials and unload finished products from the press.

Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience in operating and setting up manufacturing presses.

Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor machine maintenance.

Demonstrated understanding of quality control procedures and ability to perform in-process inspections.

Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with CNC press controls or basic G-code programming.

Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment.

Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).

Previous experience in tool and die repair or fabrication.

Basic welding or fabrication skills.
