Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Set up and adjust manufacturing presses, including tooling and dies, according to job specifications.

Operate various types of presses (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical) to produce parts efficiently and accurately.

Conduct in-process quality inspections using measurement tools and visual checks to ensure product conformance.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues to minimize downtime.

Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products, ensuring proper material handling.

Complete all required production documentation, logs, and quality control records.

Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, guidelines, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Skilled in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Commitment to safety protocols and quality control standards.

Basic math skills for calculations and machine adjustments.

Bonus Qualifications

Forklift certification or experience

Experience with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles

Ability to perform minor machine maintenance or repairs

Experience training or mentoring junior operators

Proficiency with production tracking software or data entry
