Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing presses according to job specifications.

Operate various types of presses to produce parts, monitoring for efficiency and quality.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on press equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues or material defects during production.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring adherence to specifications.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical, injection molding).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.

Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting, adjustments, and basic machine maintenance.

Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with preventative maintenance or minor machine troubleshooting.

Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operation.

Valid forklift operator certification.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
