Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to the following:

• Perform QC and QA activities for automotive interior components, including module assembly and subcomponents.

• Manage in-house assembly line quality, ensuring products meet internal standards and customer requirements.

• Conduct incoming inspections and safety validation of components from external manufacturing sites.

• Monitor and analyze quality data using SAP/ERP systems to track trends, manage defects, and improve product consistency.

• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records in compliance with standards.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues and enhance overall process efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher in quality engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in quality engineering within an automotive parts manufacturing environment, including hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems.
