Salary Range: $42,000 - $62,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, noting any discrepancies or damages.

Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

Load and unload trucks and other vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.

Maintain accurate inventory records by updating the warehouse management system (WMS) for all received and shipped items.

Organize and maintain the receiving and shipping areas, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics departments to ensure timely movement of goods.

Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs forms.

Recommended Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience with shipping software and inventory management systems

Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds

Strong organizational and time management skills

Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

Excellent attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications

Forklift certification

Experience with inventory management software

Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Familiarity with hazardous materials handling procedures
