Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Set up and adjust manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, punch, brake) according to specifications.

Operate presses to produce parts, monitoring machine performance and output.

Perform quality checks on finished products using measurement tools to ensure adherence to blueprints and standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues.

Load raw materials onto the press, ensuring correct material type and quantity.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience operating manufacturing presses (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical, stamping).

Demonstrated ability to perform machine setups, tooling changes, and adjustments.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues.

Experience using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Commitment to safety protocols and quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

CNC programming or operating experience

Forklift certification

Experience with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles

Basic electrical or hydraulic troubleshooting skills
