Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing presses according to job specifications.

Operate presses to produce parts, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.

Monitor press performance, identify malfunctions, and perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts, using precision measuring tools.

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine material requirements and machine settings.

Maintain accurate production records, quality logs, and equipment maintenance reports.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for setup and quality control.

Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting, adjusting, and performing minor maintenance on machinery.

Commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and machine guarding.

Bonus Qualifications

Forklift certification

Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or 5S methodology

Basic welding or fabrication skills
