About the Role:
The Machine Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by efficiently operating and maintaining production machinery to ensure consistent product quality and safety. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing equipment, including powered industrial tools and overhead cranes, while adhering strictly to food safety regulations and personal hygiene standards. The operator is responsible for monitoring machine performance, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Collaboration with team members and independent work are both essential to meet production targets and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, the Machine Operator contributes directly to the smooth operation of the manufacturing facility, supporting inventory management and warehouse upkeep to optimize overall productivity.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer knowledge for data entry and equipment monitoring.
Forklift training and certification.
Experience operating powered industrial equipment and production machinery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with overhead crane operation.
Knowledge of warehouse maintenance and inventory management.
Understanding of food safety regulations specific to manufacturing.
Experience working in a team-oriented production setting.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production machinery and powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, ensuring safe and efficient use.
Perform routine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting to prevent equipment malfunctions and production delays.
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of personal hygiene to comply with industry requirements.
Manage warehouse inventory and assist with warehouse maintenance tasks to support production flow.
Read and interpret measurements accurately using rulers and other tools to maintain product quality and specifications.
Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily operations.
Work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating the ability to work independently when required.
Maintain detailed records of machine performance, maintenance activities, and safety checks.

Monday through Friday
First Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Third Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Full-time
