Our client is seeking a career oriented Operations Manager who oversees daily operations of a manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while meeting quality and performance goals. This role partners cross-functionally to drive operational excellence, implement Lean principles, and optimize throughput.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead facility operations across Safety, Quality, Cost, and Inventory.
Manage daily production, budgets, and overall operational performance.
Identify and implement continuous improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and performance.
Analyze volume trends and align capacity with demand.
Report on operational performance and drive strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
Lead projects, manage resources, and support change management efforts.
Recruit, train, and develop team members.
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.
Promote employee development, morale, and retention.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with KPIs, performance management, and Lean principles preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems.
