Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Develop, program, and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) logic for new and existing manufacturing equipment.

Troubleshoot and debug complex PLC programs, HMI (Human Machine Interface) issues, and integrated automation systems.

Perform commissioning and start-up of automated machinery, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs, electrical schematics, and operational procedures.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to resolve automation-related issues and implement continuous improvements.

Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on PLC systems and industrial controls.

Ensure all programming and control system designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.

Strong understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

Proven experience in commissioning, debugging, and optimizing automated manufacturing equipment and processes.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex control system issues.

Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and other technical documentation relevant to control systems.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration.

Proficiency in SCADA system development and database integration (e.g., SQL).

Familiarity with vision inspection systems and their integration with PLCs.

Ability to program in high-level languages (e.g., C#, Python) for custom applications or data analysis.
