Machine Operator

We’re looking for an experienced Laser / Punch Press Operator to join a small, tight-knit second shift team at a precision fabrication shop in Boulder County. This shop works primarily in aerospace and oil & gas, doing high-quality sheet metal fabrication in an AS9100-certified environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Operate CNC punch press and/or laser cutting machines for sheet metal production

Set up and run jobs according to production requirements and work instructions

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and tolerance standards

Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow

What You'll Need:

Experience in sheet metal fabrication

Hands-on experience with CNC punch press or laser cutting equipment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

Experience operating both punch and laser equipment

Experience with combination punch/laser machines

Experience in aerospace or AS9100 manufacturing environments

Knowledge of GD&T

Compensation

$28 – $32/hour depending on experience

+$1.50/hour shift differential
