Rad/X-Ray Tech Immokalee, Florida

A Radiology Technologist opportunity is available in Immokalee, FL, offering a 13-week contract with a reputable medical center. This role involves providing high-quality imaging services, particularly in the Operating Room (OR) environment, with a focus on C-arm procedures and portable radiographic techniques. The position requires floating between campuses as needed, with a weekday shift of four 10-hour days, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Flexibility to adjust shifts to 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and availability for on-call coverage (5 to 8 shifts per month) are essential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Florida Radiologic Technologist license in good standing

Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Tech experience

Proficiency in OR imaging and C-arm operation

Graduation from an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)

Must have valid AHCA certification for Florida travel assignments

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including basic radiographs, fluoroscopy, and portable x-rays

Deliver high-quality intraoperative imaging in the OR using C-arm technology

Collaborate with Radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging

Float between campuses as required to support patient care needs

Participate in on-call rotation and adjust work hours flexibly as needed to accommodate department demands

Work Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (shift adjustments possible)

On-call shifts averaging 5 to 8 per month
