General Description
The Technical Intern will assist the Technical Operations team with various projects related to the oversight of Aircastle's fleet of aircraft and engines. Projects can focus on the technical status of the aircraft and its components, as well as technical activities around the operation of the aircraft while on lease to an airline or during the transition of the aircraft from one airline to another.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Review technical specifications of aircraft and engines for completeness and accuracy
Analysis of data related to fleet of aircraft including:
Timing of shop visits
Maintenance status of components
Engine ownership and location
Airworthiness directive status
Position Requirements
Formal Education and Certification
Incumbent must be pursuing a related Bachelor's degree
Knowledge and Experience
Experience using Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills
Ability to familiarize oneself with basic aircraft components and terminology
