By providing scale, structure, and insights, the Market Execution Leader enhances the effectiveness of the Market Retail Executive and ensures alignment across teams, tools, and initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities: + Performance, Sales & Growth + Lead execution of sales strategies and key performance priorities across the market's retail branches.
+ Monitor market level performance metrics, identify trends, and translate insights into targeted actions.
+ Drive productivity and help ensure consistent adoption of sales processes, client engagement practices, and growth initiatives.
+ Partner with branch and regional banking leaders to reinforce behaviors that strengthen customer relationships.
+ Market Execution & Leadership + Provide structure and operational discipline through standard routines, leadership rhythms, and consistent communication mechanisms.
+ Support branch leadership teams by delivering market-level guidance, performance insights, and follow-through on enterprise priorities.
+ Influence and align OCR partners around execution expectations, capability building, and accountability for results.
+ Strategy Deployment & Change Leadership + Translate enterprise and market strategy into clear, actionable plans for branch teams.
+ Develop and deploy tools, playbooks, execution frameworks to support sales and service outcomes.
+ Lead implementation of new initiatives, ensuring teams are equipped, trained, and supported through change.
+ Cross-Functional Partnership + Collaborate closely with product partners in Digital, Marketing, Operations, Data & Analytics, IT, HR, and Risk to ensure alignment between enterprise priorities and market execution.
+ Surface branch-level insights to influence enterprise decision-making and prioritization.
+ Support communication and rollout of programs and initiatives across the market.
+ Risk, Controls & Compliance + Reinforce adherence to sales practices, operational protocols, and regulatory standards.
+ Monitor risk indicators and partner with control functions to proactively address gaps.
+ Ensure branch teams maintain a customer-centric, ethical, and compliant culture.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree + 10+ years' proven leadership experience in retail banking and sales management.
+ Experience successfully leading teams distributed across large geographies.
Preferred Qualifications: + Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence across levels and functions.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead through change and drive adoption.
+ Strong operational acumen and deep understanding of retail banking sales and service processes.
+ Ability to interact effectively with all levels across the organization and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
+ Time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
+ Ability to regularly travel within the Huntington footprint.
