Security Officer (Seasonal)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant seasonal Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing rules and regulations, and responding to incidents as they arise. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations.
Skills
Proven experience in law enforcement or security-related fields is preferred.
Proficient in surveillance techniques and the use of CCTV systems.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR; certification is a plus.
Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies.
Ability to manage conflicts with tact and diplomacy.
Military experience is advantageous but not required.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Certification in security training or related fields is desirable.
