Role Description: The Program Manager, Water Supply Resilience supports the Pure Water DC initiative by managing key program activities, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and overseeing assigned workstreams to ensure successful program execution.

This role is responsible for program administration, project tracking, risk management, and cross-functional coordination to advance water resilience initiatives.

The Program Manager provides structured program oversight, ensures alignment with strategic objectives, and supports the development and implementation of program governance, reporting, and performance monitoring processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Performs program administration, including serving as the Contracting Officer Representative (COTR), managing program budgets, tracking expenditures, and supporting procurement activities.

* Schedules and facilitates meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting and tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-up with an understanding of program-level issues and interdependencies.

* Organizes and leads regional stakeholder meetings, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and documentation of agreements and next steps.

* Oversees assigned Pure Water DC workstreams, ensuring that deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with program priorities.

* Serves as the primary point of contact for the Capital Delivery Team regarding the Discovery Center, overseeing contract administration, operational logistics, and coordination with internal partners.

* Plans and coordinates tours, events, and outreach activities in partnership with the Office of Marketing and Communications.

* Supports science communication activities, public education efforts, and partner engagement at the Discovery Center.

* Manages program and project risks, including maintaining risk registers, escalating issues as appropriate, and ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented.

* Develops and maintains program schedules, dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to ensure visibility into program progress and performance.

* Supports development of program governance frameworks, documentation standards, playbooks, and procedures to improve consistency and operational efficiency.

* Conducts research, prepares presentations, and develops background materials for leadership and key stakeholders.

* Coordinates with cross-functional teams-including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and external partners-to ensure program alignment and resolve issues.

* Assists in preparing Board updates, quarterly performance reports, and other program documentation.

* Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Key Working Relationships: Interaction with employees at all levels of the Authority, and with officials and employees of other governmental and non-governmental agencies.

Skills & Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.

Required Skills & Qualifications Required Experience:Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in directing projects, interacting with staff and public, and reporting data to management.Minimum Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Communications, Public Health, or Environmental Science from an accredited college or university.Required Skills:Project managementEvent planning and stakeholder engagement Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
