Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing presses according to job specifications.

Operate press machinery to produce parts, ensuring adherence to production schedules.

Monitor machine performance and product quality, making necessary adjustments to maintain standards.

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting on press equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.

Load and unload materials and parts into and out of the press.

Complete production logs, quality control sheets, and other required documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating industrial presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, mechanical).

Demonstrated ability to perform machine setup, tooling changeovers, and adjustments.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders.

Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.

Strong understanding and adherence to machine safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.

Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve operational issues.

Bonus Qualifications

CNC programming or operation experience

Forklift certification

Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies

Basic welding or fabrication skills

Hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting knowledge
