Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform complex setups and changeovers of various presses, including tooling and die installation and adjustments.

Operate manufacturing presses efficiently and safely, monitoring machine performance and output.

Conduct in-process quality inspections, measure parts using precision instruments, and ensure adherence to specifications.

Identify and resolve machine malfunctions, tooling issues, and production problems promptly.

Perform routine preventative maintenance on presses and associated equipment.

Load and unload raw materials and finished parts, ensuring proper material flow.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience operating and setting up various types of manufacturing presses.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.

Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor adjustments.

Commitment to safety protocols and quality control procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment

Basic machine maintenance and repair skills

Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies

Proficiency with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators)
