As a Business Development Proposal Manager, you'll lead a variety of business development initiatives, from major strategic proposals to smaller qualification statements. Key Responsibilities: Each day will present unique challenges and opportunities that will allow you to enhance Jacobs' sales success. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting proposals using various delivery methods, including Design-Build (DB), Design-Bid-Build (DDB), and Progressive-Design-Build (PDB).
Gaining a deep understanding of Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) pursuits.
Coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams (Design, Construction, Operations, and Facility Services) to ensure cohesive and integrated proposal content.
Remaining knowledgeable about industry standards and client requirements for DB/DDB/PDB/OMFS proposals, ensuring compliance and quality in project descriptions, resumes, and technical approaches.
Independently managing the preparation and coordination of proposals of varying sizes, collaborating closely with technical staff, while supporting larger strategic opportunities under senior Sales guidance.
Leading the planning and development of small to mid-sized presentations and interviews.
Conducting thorough research, writing, editing, and tailoring non-technical proposal sections independently; proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
Actively participating in kick-off meetings and key milestone gatherings.
Engaging in opportunity planning and providing suggestions for qualified partners or team members during strategy sessions.
Understanding business objectives and aligning them with sales strategies, especially in the End Game proposal process.
Acting as a subject matter expert and advocate for SSO procedures, policies, and best practices.
Maintaining and updating business development-related tools and databases.
Building and nurturing strong relationships with Operations, fellow SSO staff, Selling Units, and Sales Enablement teams both locally and across our network.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing proposal teams and ensuring adherence to schedules.
Demonstrated success in leading various business development efforts, from proposals to qualification statements, while supporting larger strategic projects.
Strong capability in independently writing and updating project summaries, success stories, and resumes with minimal supervision.
