Position Overview:
NetSuite Implementation Leader - ERP Advisory (NetSuite)
Role Summary:
Crowe is seeking an experienced NetSuite Implementation Leader to drive innovative NetSuite projects for our private equity-backed clients. This role blends hands-on NetSuite configuration expertise with our ERP Advisory services, supporting clients from diligence inputs through to design, implementation, post-go-live stabilization, and enhancement strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of functional NetSuite capabilities and the skill to translate intricate business requirements into efficient configurations while consulting with CFOs, Controllers, operators, and PE teams. Please note, this is not a development-focused role, but a solid understanding of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and the NetSuite architectural framework is crucial for guiding scalable solutions and collaborating effectively with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead workstreams for NetSuite implementations, optimizations, and stabilization post-launch.
Facilitate sessions for requirements gathering, business process mapping, and design tailored to meet the scaling demands of private equity.
Oversee hands-on configuration tasks, including workflows, saved searches, dashboards, approvals, custom forms, and user roles/permissions.
Review and guide technical solutions (SuiteScript, integrations, custom records) alongside development teams to ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable.
Assist with the data migration process, including field mapping, cutover strategies, and testing management.
Advisory Support Focused on Private Equity:
Engage in ITA diligence activities: conduct red flag assessments, assess integration requirements, and provide cost-to-scale insights.
Quickly analyze client environments to pinpoint process gaps, risks, and immediate avenues for improvement.
Formulate strategies for enhancements, reporting, and operational advancements.
Program and Stakeholder Leadership:
Act as the primary communication liaison between client leadership, operators, and implementation vendors to ensure alignment on objectives and effective risk management.
Utilize ITA delivery best practices (requirements documentation, FDDs, testing scripts, PMO trackers) to facilitate execution.
Support change management through end-user engagement, training materials, and post-launch support strategies.
Internal Special Operations Contributions:
Create standardized playbooks for NetSuite configuration, testing, and optimization processes.
Mentor junior consultants and offshore resources, ensuring quality in all outputs and client interactions.
Collaborate with other ITA practices (IT Strategy, OCIO, M&A Support) for integrated project engagements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required (Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field).
Preferred NetSuite certifications: SuiteFoundation, Administrator, ERP Consultant.
Experience:
5-8 years of experience in NetSuite implementation, optimization, or functional consulting.
Prior consulting experience in rapidly evolving private equity environments is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead NetSuite projects from design to implementation and testing phases.
Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency, or integration-intensive environments is a plus.
Technical Proficiencies:
In-depth functional knowledge of NetSuite applications, including GL, AR/AP, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Inventory, and Reporting.
Familiarity with advanced modules such as Advanced Inventory, WMS, and Manufacturing is preferred.
Good understanding of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk/RESTlets, and SuiteAnalytics to guide development efforts effectively.
Proficient with project management and ticketing tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet).
Key Competencies:
Strong consulting presence, capable of advising CFOs, Controllers, and private equity operating teams.
Structured critical thinking ability to create clarity in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written, with emphasis on delivering executive-ready presentations.
Ability to balance detailed functional requirements with practical business judgment.
Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and thrives in agile, high-pressure team environments.
Work Environment:
Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 20-50%).
Operates in a fast-paced setting, supporting private equity initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
Expected to work collaboratively within ITA's global delivery framework, including offshore resources.
We expect candidates to embody Crowe's values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship, reflecting our core identity. All team members are expected to act ethically and with integrity at all times.
The application deadline for this role is 04/30/2026.
