As an Actuary dedicated to Analytics and Forecasting, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and forecasting financial and economic data. Your insightful analysis will guide strategic decisions and drive essential business intelligence initiatives. In this exciting position, you will ensure the accuracy of data by creating and executing comprehensive processes and controls. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will identify business needs, tackle issues, conduct root cause analyses, and devise impactful solutions to resolve data discrepancies. Additionally, you will provide valuable guidance to executives on significant matters and develop tailored strategies for specific segments.

This role will establish you as a subject matter expert in the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) population within our Medicare Advantage plans, with responsibilities including:

Leading enhancements in the ESRD claims forecasting process.

Validating input assumptions and outputs of ESRD forecasts for precision.

Effectively summarizing and conveying ESRD forecast results to business partners.

Analyzing trends among ESRD members to uncover actionable insights.

Utilize Your Expertise to Make a Significant Difference!

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) with a relevant advanced degree or equivalent professional credentials.

Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Experience in areas such as modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving, or trending.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong technical skills, particularly in SQL, VBA, and Databricks/Python.

Familiarity with Individual Medicare Advantage plans.

Comprehensive understanding of the ESRD population.

Additional Information:

This position is remote; however, occasional travel to Humana's offices may be required for training or meetings.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Salary Range: The salary range represents a good faith estimate of starting base pay for this full-time role and may vary based on experience, skills, and location.

$129,300 - $177,800 per year

This position is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and/or company performance.
