Mortgage Loan Processor – Retail (In-Office)

Location: Chandler, AZ (In-Office)

Division: Oaktree Direct (Retail Lending)

Processors at Oaktree Direct are true file owners—working closely with loan officers, underwriters, and leadership to move loans efficiently from application to close.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Mortgage Loan Processor to join our in-office team in Chandler, AZ. This role supports a steady retail pipeline and focuses on FHA, VA, and Conventional loans.

This position is ideal for a processor who thrives in an in-office environment, understands retail timelines, and takes pride in submitting clean, complete files to underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage retail loan files from application through clear-to-close

Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, disclosures)

Prepare complete, accurate submissions for underwriting

Clear underwriting conditions efficiently and proactively

Maintain consistent communication with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters

Ensure files meet agency, investor, and compliance requirements

Track pipeline and prioritize files to meet contract and closing deadlines

Required Qualifications

2+ years of recent retail mortgage processing experience

Hands-on experience processing FHA and VA loans (Conventional a plus)

Strong understanding of income calculations, asset review, and documentation standards

Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple files

Ability to work full-time, in office in Chandler, AZ

Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience working closely with in-office underwriting teams

Familiarity with retail LOS systems and disclosure timelines
