Salary Range: $61,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Swiss lathes for precision part manufacturing.
Load raw materials (bar stock) and tooling into machines.
Monitor machine operation, adjust offsets, and replace worn tools to maintain part quality.
Perform in-process quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and technical specifications.
Troubleshoot machine alarms, minor malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
Complete production records and adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss-type lathes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and various gauges.
Ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program adjustments (G-code familiarity).
Strong understanding of cutting tools, materials, and machining processes for tight tolerances.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with G-code programming or advanced program editing beyond basic offsets.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for tooling or fixture design.
Demonstrated ability to perform preventative maintenance and basic machine troubleshooting.
Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience operating or programming other CNC machine types (e.g., multi-axis mills, grinders).
