Salary Range: $61,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis milling machines using CAM software.
Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and workholding strategies for various materials and part geometries.
Simulate and verify CNC programs to prevent collisions, optimize tool paths, and reduce cycle times.
Create detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and other manufacturing documentation.
Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs on the shop floor during first article prove-out and production.
Collaborate with design engineers and machinists to ensure manufacturability and resolve production issues.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining efficiency and part quality.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, Fusion 360).
Demonstrated experience in G-code and M-code programming for 3-axis and multi-axis CNC mills.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and material properties.
Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and tool path simulation.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with multi-axis (4 or 5-axis) programming.
Proficiency in CAD software for design and fixture creation (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
Hands-on experience operating CNC mills or lathes.
Familiarity with DNC systems and post-processor editing.
