Consultant Physician in Stroke Medicine, Ireland

We are currently recruiting Consultant Physicians in Stroke Medicine for multiple hospitals across Ireland.

The Role:

You will join an established Acute Stroke Service providing:

Hyperacute & acute stroke care

Thrombolysis services (and thrombectomy pathways where applicable)

Stroke ward management

TIA clinics

Post-stroke follow-up and secondary prevention

Participation in audit, governance & service development

Most posts include a combination of:

Acute Stroke

General Internal Medicine (where required)

On-call commitment (varies by site)

Requirements:

Full registration (or eligibility) with the Irish Medical Council

CCT in Stroke Medicine and Internal Medicine

Significant experience in acute stroke management

Salary & Benefits:

HSE Consultant Salary Scale 235,862 - 283,318 euros per year to work 37 hours per week, any extra hours are paid on top of that.

30 days annual leave
