Nurse Practitioner PRN Needed! (Contract Employee)
Springwoods Behavioral Health, an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, provides acute inpatient treatment for adolescent, adult, and specialty program for women. The hospital also offers outpatient treatment. Our six-acre campus is adjacent to a 123-acre Audubon Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary, which is held in perpetuity and cannot be developed from its natural state. This provides Springwoods with a peaceful setting for those embarked on the road to recovery.

Springwoods Behavioral Health is seeking a PRN Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner for weekday and/or weekend shifts. Wonderful medical office support staff...excellent co-workers...great employee atmosphere! The Nurse Practitioner works closely with the Medical Director, Clinical Staff, and Nursing Staff to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, determine diagnosis plans, prescribe treatments, and manage mental health care regimens in collaboration with the designated physician.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Graduation from accredited Master's level Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in Psychiatry.
Arkansas NP License.
Board Certification for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required.
Must have at minimum 2 years' experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and must be comfortable seeing child-adult populations. Education and Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years experiece as a NP in a Hospital with mental illness and addictive disorders patients, preferred
Unencumbered State of AR Licensed NP, expertise, or interest, in treating patients with mental illness and addictive disorders preferred.
