Machine Operator – GMP Environment
3rd Shift $20–$25/hr + Overtime
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support bakery production on 3rd shift in a GMP regulated environment. This hands on role involves operating and monitoring industrial equipment to ensure safe, high quality, and consistent production in a fast paced, hot manufacturing setting. Ideal candidates have prior machine operation experience, strong GMP knowledge, and are looking for long term growth with opportunities to advance into leadership. Schedule & Pay
3rd Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
Overtime Available: Yes (5–15 hours/week based on production needs) Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor production and mixing equipment in a GMP environment
Accurately calculate, weigh, and load raw materials per batch instructions
Enter and adjust HMI programs to ensure proper batch processing and cooking
Monitor product quality and machine performance, making operator level adjustments
Troubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate mechanical problems to maintenance
Perform routine operator maintenance including cleaning and inspections
Complete all required production and GMP documentation accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and food safe work area
Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams REQUIRED Qualifications
GMP experience is a MUST
Prior experience as a Machine Operator
Experience with one or more of the following:
Batch mixers, blenders, fillers
Automated production lines
Ovens, proofers, or processing equipment
Ability to follow work instructions, formulas, and batch records
Comfortable working in a hot production environment
Experience entering programs and monitoring machines via HMI systems Why You’ll Want This Job
